OnLocationVacations have posted the first pictures of the set construction taking place in Kualoa Ranch in Hawaii for Jurassic World. The Gallimimus scene from Jurassic Park was filmed in Kualoa Ranch.

Director Colin Trevorrow just tweeted that Jurassic World will start filming in April. John Schwartzman, who worked on The Amazing Spider-Man and Pearl Harbor, will be the film's cinematographer and the film will be shot on 35mm and 65mm film.

Honolulu newspaper MidWeek is reporting that Jurassic World is going to film on both Oahu and Kauai in Hawaii. The report says:
"Pre-production is under way for Jurassic Park 4, scheduled to begin filming on Oahu for four weeks in April, followed by two weeks on Kauai…"
